23rd of May are now avalilable in advance sale. The tickets
can be bought in advance sale stores in Aalborg or online.
Bonus: If you buy your ticket in advance sale you get free
entrance to Battle of Carnival bands at friday the 22nd of
May in Kildeparken!

"Mr. World Music" at Go
Global World Music Awards

"Mr. World Music" alias Ramon Avendano,
founder of the band Uno Mundo, is coming to Thursday's Go
Global World Music Awards in Kildeparken. Ramon Avendano
plays also in Sonora
Universal, Moussa Diallos Quintet and Nazarenes.

Fancy carnival dresses
& great dance shows at DUS med Dans

On Monday, 19th of May "DUS med Dans" took
place at Huset's courtyard. Children of 14 different youth
activity centres presented their creative carnival costumes
just as fantastic dance shows.

Thousands of happy
faces at the Children's Carnival

On Sunday, 18th of May thousands of cheerful, dressed-up
children and their parents participated in the parade and
enjoyed a colourful entertainment programme in Kildeparken.
Also, the Danish TV station TV2 Nord stopped by and captured
this years Children's Carnival -

Three different starting points - and lots of
music wagons at the Grand Parade!

The Grand Parade starts from three
different places: Haraldslund, Nørresundby Torv and Vejgaard
Torv. At each of the three parade parts, there are themed music
wagons that heat up the party and contribute to a vibrating
atmosphere.

Carnival Poster 2008 - get it for free at
NT's bus stations!

This years' carnival poster is painted by the local artist
Betina Jung. She
found her inspiration in both, classical and international
carnival traditions, and of course in this years' carnival
theme "Magic in the Air".
In co-operation with NT, you can get the poster for free at
NT's bus stations in week 20 and 21.

Rasmus Bjerg is Carnival King 2008

Yesterday, one of Denmarks best and most entertaining
comedians, Rasmus Bjerg, was crowend Carnival King 2008. He
is well-known as Bimmer in the TV series "Wulffmorgenthaler"
and recently as magician Jørgen in "Mr. Poxycat". |

carnival events: Teenager's Carnival, Satire Day and Party
in Kildeparken.
Save 25 DKK by purchasing the ticket for Party in
Kildeparken in advance. Tickets can be purchased at
different shops in Aalborg.
